ISLAMABAD, March 29 (Online): Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has reconstituted Council of Common Interest (CCI).
Foreign Minister (FM) instead of Finance Minister has been included in CCI for the first time in the history of country.
Notification in this regard has been issued with the approval of PM
According to notification PM Shehbaz Sharif will be chairman of CCI. The chief ministers of all the four provinces will be included in the CCI. Foreign minister Ishaq Dar has been included in CCI as member.
Defence minister Khawaja Asif and minister for SAFRON Amir Muqam too are included in CCI.
The notification said CCI has come to existence from March 21, 2024.
