Plea bargain request of Mumtaz Abbas in Sindh Tractor Subsidy case accepted

Islamabad, Sep 16 (Online): Court accepts the plea bargain request filed by Mumtaz Ali Abbas accused in Sindh Tractor Subsidy corruption scandal.

Accountability court accepted the plea bargain of 37 Lac rupees. Mumtaz Ali Abbas was the chief engineer in Hyderabad agriculture department. He told to the court that he was doing the plea bargain on his will.

Suspect admitted that he had prepared fake delivery reports for the farmers. Judge Muhammad Bashir of accountability court accepted the plea bargain.
