Petrol price in Pakistan drops by Rs8 per liter for next 15 days

Islamabad (PNI) The caretaker government cut the price of gasoline by Rs. 8 for the upcoming two weeks on Saturday, providing some respite to the people who have become weary of inflation.

The price of diesel has been reduced by Rs11 and will now cost Rs318.18 a litre after the announcement.

As of this midnight, new commodity prices are in effect.

According to the ministry, “the Government of Pakistan has decided to revise the consumer prices of petroleum products in light of variations in international petroleum product prices as well as the improvement in the exchange rate.”

Additionally, the price of light diesel oil and kerosene has been reduced by 7.77 and 7.53 rupees per litre, respectively, and is now 212.45 and 237.28.
