LAHORE, FEB 21 (ONLINE): Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench has issued notice to interior ministry and federation on the petition filed by former interior minister Sheikh Rashid seeking removal of his name from Exit Control List (ECL).
The petition seeking removal of name of Sheikh Rashid came up for hearing before Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan of Lahore High Court Rawalpindi bench Wednesday.
The court while issuing notices to interior ministry and federation sought reply on February 28.
The court sought reply in writing on as to why Sheikh Rashid name was included in ECL
Sheikh Rashid said his name has been included in ECL under political victimization.
He regretted to talk to media further.
