LAHORE, April 20 (Online): Speaker Punjab Assembly (PA) Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has sent reference to election commission against the 26 dissident Members of Punjab Assembly (MPAs) of PTI.
The reference was received from PTI chairman wherein the speaker was asked to take action against 26 MPAs under article 65 of the constitution.
These 26 members include Abdul Aleem Khan, Raja Saghir Ahmad, Ghulam Rasool,, Saeed Akbar, Muhammad Ajmal, Faisal Hayat, Mehr Aslam, Khalid Mehmood, Nazir Chohan, Noman Lnagrial. Amin Zulqarnain, Muhammad Suleman, Zawar Hussain, Nazir Ahmad, Fida Hussain, Zohra Batool, Ayesha Nawaz, Muhammad Tahir, Sajda Yousuf, Haroon Aslam, Uzma Kardar, Malik Asad, Ejaz Masih, Sabtain Raza, Javed Akhtar and Mohsin Khosa.
The reference sent by speaker PA has been received in election commission.
