ISLAMABAD, July 28 (Online): Prime Minister (PM) Shahbaz Sharif has said the first right on the resources of Balochistan is right of people of this province.
“my stance with reference to development is linked to upgrading the life standard of people. The future of Balochistan and Pakistan is in safe and responsible hands, he said this in a tweet here Friday.
PM further tweeted “he spent an important day on Thursday in Gwadar with the federal ministers, Army chief and Naval chief, governor and Chief minister Balochistan and government officials. We have laid foundation of development, basic structure and string of educational projects. This will change the destiny of area.
He remarked Balochistan has become victim of our collective negligence despite sparse efforts. This province has not made progress at par with other federal units which are matter of shame.
He observed that the social and economic development and uplift are guarantors of real development.
People of Balochistan have first right on the resources of the province, he said adding when better change will come in their life and life of their children then they will become owner and partners of the development.
I visited all the areas of Balochistan during devastating flood last year and observed the situation personally, he said.
I think development of Pakistan is connected with development of Balochistan, he underlined.
Meeting with youths of Balochistan during the lap top distribution ceremony was important component of his visit, he remarked.
