PDM rejects NAB ordinance

Islamabad – October 8 (Online): Opposition alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) on Friday rejected government’s ordinance to amend NAB laws.

PDM spokesperson and JUI-F leader Hafiz Hamdullah on Friday reacting to the ordinance called it an ‘NRO by the government to itself’ and said that government is trying to safeguard sugar and medicine mafias.
In a statement, Hamdullah said that government was protecting flour, medicine, sugar, BRT and million tree tsunami thieves through the ordinance.

He said that Imran Khan government was issuing ordinance to exempt ‘imported and political gypsies’ from accountability process.

Hamdullah clarified that PDM completely rejects new NAB ordinance and said that it was a sheer favor to corrupt people among treasury ranks.
