PDM files reference in EC for disqualification of Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD, August 04 (Online): PDM has filed disqualification reference against PTI chairman Imran Khan in Election Commission (EC) for not showing the gifts received from Tosha Khana.

PML-N MNA Mohsin Shah Nawaz Ranjha has filed the reference on behalf of PDM in election commission. The reference has been submitted under article 63 of the constitution.
As per reference former Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan did not show the gifts received from Tosha Khana in declaration of assets. Therefore, he be disqualified under article 62-1/F of the constitution.

Talking to media men outside the Election Commission Mohsin Shah Nawaz Ranjha said Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb of Islamabad High Court had given decision all the details should be made public.

Reference was filed before speaker National Assembly on JULY 04, 2022 that these details be provided. Imran Khan has mentioned in the affidavit given by him in 2028 that these gifts are his own.

Imran has obtained watches worth more than Rs 100 million on the other hand he said that he has left PM house only with one diary. He received watches worth Rs 100 million and he was to deposit amount about 20 million in the national exchequer.

He used to obtain gift and gave it to friend. He has deposited 20 percent amount after selling the gift. Imran Khan is neither Sadiq nor Ameen. The constitution of the country will not allow any thief to hide him.

He held that Imran Khan asks the nation to pay tax after evading tax. Just now only part one has come while part 2 and part 3 have yet to come. Imran Khan has breached constitution of Pakistan.
