Pakistan has reported 46 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 602,536. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 13,3 13,476 77 on Saturday.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 2,338 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.
Till now 260,959 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 183,815 in Punjab 75,357 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 47,365 in Islamabad, 19,188 in Balochistan, 19,188 in Azad Kashmir and 4,960 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 5,732 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,453 in Sindh, 2,147 in KP, 522 in Islamabad, 317 in Azad Kashmir, 202 in Balochistan, and 103 in GB.
Pakistan has so far conducted 9,445,138 coronavirus tests and 42,499 in the last 24 hours. 569,296 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 1,720 patients are in critical condition.
