LAHORE, SEP 08 (ONLINE): Opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Shahbaz Sharif has said our concerns about national economy proved true and Pakistan fall in Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) the re-classification of Pakistan to Frontier Markets Index (FM) on September 7, 2021, from the current classification of Emerging Markets Index is not a good news.
Expressing his concern over removal of Pakistan from emerging economies PML-N president said it is regrettable.
Classifying Pakistan in frontier markets by MSCI is announcement of Pakistan economic downfall., he remarked.
During PML-N regime Pakistan was classified among 20 emerging world economies, he indicated.
He held that Imran Khan is seeing people prosperous while international agencies are seeing them in miserable condition.
