Pakistan 5th larger democracy in the world: Murtaza Solangi

ISLAMABAD, Feb 03 (Online): Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi has said Pakistan is fifth larger democracy of the world where people elect democratic government. ..
” Only four days have been left in holding general election and all the arrangements have been made in this regard. Security has been divided into three parts. Police, Rangers, FC and Pakistan army will perform security duties, he said this while addressing a press conference here Saturday.

He held election will take place on 266 seats of National Assembly.

He went on to say all the arrangements including security have been made well.

Security has been divided in three parts. In first phase Police will perform security duty , in the second phase Rangers and FC and in the third phase Pakistan army will perform the duty. Pakistan army will perform security duty as quick response.

He went on to say over 120 million people will exercise their right to vote in the election. Among them 6.90 crore are male and over 5.90 crore are registered female voters.

He observed Pakistan is an independent country where all enjoy the freedom of expression and criticism.

Care taker government is utilizing all resources for peaceful and transparent election.

Murtaza Solangi said the caretaker government took a number of steps to improve economy of the country and signed agreements through Special Investment Facilitation Council. He said the objective of the SIFC is to encourage the investors to invest in the country
Pakistan is taking action against the terrorists, therefore, security forces are ready all the time. Al-Qaida and TTP are active in Afghanistan.
Terrorism is on rise in Afghanistan after Taliban have come to power.
