LAHORE March 24 (Online): As many as one thousand equipped cops with armored vehicles, prison van, including anti-riot kits other necessities have been deployed in Islamabad from Punjab Police.
Police has been deployed on the request of Federal Government.
Step taken is a measure to handle any kind of situation may occurs in result of long march of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and mass gathering of government in capital territory.
Source told that, Rangers also remains alert to handle law and order situation in Islamabad.
