Non provision of level playing field: IHC to hear PTI candidates petition today

ISLAMABAD, FEB 05 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear today (Tuesday) petition filed by PTI candidates Ali Bokhari and Shoaib Shaheen against non provision of level playing field to them.

Election Commission (EC) authorities will appear. The court has already halted the concerned authorities from harassing PTI workers.

Chief Justice (CJ) Aamir Farooq had summoned SSP operation and EC authorities. Justice Aamir Farooq had heard the case.

CJ IHC had said we call the higher authorities and say them. The petitioners are senior members of bar and senior lawyers.

Shoaib Shaheen and Ali Bokhari had filed petition against hindrance in election.
During hearing Shoaib Shaheen and Ali Bokhari told the court police are not refraining from harassing them. Whenever PTI workers hold corner meeting Police chase them. We have told police we are not Q abza group.

CJ IHC inquired tell me whom I should call and whom I should issue order.

These two leaders requested to call SSP. Call police authorities of Shahzad Town and Rural. Call Election Commission (EC) authorities.
The court summoned EC authorities and SSP operations.

The hearing of the case was adjourned till February 06.
