No one has right to talk over our missile range: SM Qureshi

ISLAMABAD 19 Mar (Online): Former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Sunday expressed reservations over finance minister Ishaq Dar’s statement regarding atomic assets.

PM Shehbaz Shareef should take nation into confidence: Qureshi
He said no one has the right to discuss over missile range. Senator Raza Rabbani has also raised questions on Ishaq Dar statement.

Taking to media on Sunday former foreign minister said incumbent foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto is building his image in foreign visits. He should have issued statement over such a sensitive issue.

Foreign Office said that not any country has said anything about our atomic program; Shah questioned, then why have Ishaq Dar talked about atomic program?

Qureshi said our atomic program is peaceful and it is our defence. This program is particular to South Asia for the balance of power in this region.

Former foreign minister also demanded joint parliament session on the issue of pressure on our atomic program. Prime Minister should give policy statement on this issue in joint session because it is also the demand of government members.

He said they are talking about banning PTI, “we want to settle issues but they want to make things worse.”

Zaman Park operation has violated the prestige of dupatta and walls (chader or char Dewari ka taqadas pamaal kia), said Qureshi, they violated the orders of Lahore High Court (LHC). Torture on Shibli Faraz and Amjad Niazi shows government intentions.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Indian Prime Minister is addressing Pakistan people. That is where this government brought the situation and no one is realizing.
