No justification to retain his office by CEC after SC decision, he should go home: Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman

ISLAMABAD, July  12 (Online): JI Amir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman while welcoming Supreme Court (SC) decision on the petition of Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) regarding reserved seats has said  Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) should now resign and go home.

 

“This matter should not end here but a Judicial Commission (JC) be constituted and the seats of national and provincial assemblies be returned to those who are entitled to them.

 

He further said the duality of those parties were exposed due to this decision which were occupying these seats illegally against the democratic opinion and were playing on both sides of wicket.

 

CEC  should resign forthwith because there is no justification for retaining the office by him  now after SC decision, he demanded.
