No compromise on the standard of free flour acceptable: PM Shehbaz

ISLAMABAD, March 13 (Online): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said no compromise on the standard of free flour is acceptable.

“Free flour will be distributed to 15.8 million families of Punjab in Ramazan-ul-Mubarak. Free flour will be distributed from 25th Shaban to 25th Ramazan. Distribution of flour will be made through 8500 utility stores” he said this while chairing a review meeting in Lahore on Monday for provision of free flour under Ramazan Package.

Punjab government gave detailed briefing on the program of distribution of free flour in the meeting.
PM said that for the first time in the history of the country package for provision of free flour to the people during Ramadan has been worked out.

He directed that more 20000 units be set up for distribution of flour among the people for their facilitation. The distribution of free flour in transparent manner be ensured. Modern technology be used to prevent theft during the distribution of flour.
