ISLAMABAD, MARCH 20 (ONLINE): Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has again summoned 17 persons including Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder on the matter of negative propaganda on social media.
As per sources these all persons have been directed to appear before JIT on March 21.
Those summoned include Syed Firdous Shamim Naqvi, Muhammad Khalid Khurshid Khan, Mian Muhammad Aslam Iqbal , Muhammad Hammad Azhar and Aon Abbas.
Notice has been issued to Muhammad Shahbaz Shabbir, Waqas Akram, Taimore Salim Khan, Sibghat Ullah Virk, Azhar Mashwani and Muhammad Noman Afzal.
Notices too have been issued to Jibran Ilyas, Suleman Raza, Zulfi Bokhari, Musa Virk and Ali Malik.
JIT has ordered Aleema Khan sister of PTI founder to appear again.
Sources said Aleema Khan has appeared before JIT on March 19 too.
Sources affiliated with investigation said JIT is investigating into the matter of negative propaganda on social media.
This case is being seen under prevention of electronic crimes act-2016.
It is pertinent to mention here this JIT has been constituted by federal government. It is being headed by IG Police Islamabad.
The JIT is reviewing evidence and statements of different persons to determine the elements involved in propaganda campaign on social media and their objectives.
