ISLAMABAD July 27 (Online): Federal Minister and leader of Muslim League (N) Khurram Dastgir have said that the security agencies have assured to provide security for the general elections in autumn.
It is difficult to solve the cases of Nawaz Sharif until the presence of Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial, he added.
Khurram Dastgir said in an interview to the American Broadcasting Corporation that “I am very optimistic about the elections that now that the resources are available, there is security and we all want the people to be approached, then the elections will be held in the fall.” ”
He said that considering the past experience, electoral reforms have been made and now it is the responsibility of the Election Commission to make the elections transparent.
Khurram Dastgir Khan said that there are not only assumptions but clear patterns about the biasness of the current Chief Justice towards the Muslim League-N and as long as he is in office, it is difficult for Nawaz Sharif to get justice.
He says that there is no political obstacle regarding the return of Nawaz Sharif, but there are court cases.
