ISLAMABAD 31 May (Online): National Assembly Audio Leaks Committee summoned former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar son today(Thursday).
Chairman committee Aslam Bhuttani said no notice from court or Speaker was received we will continue its work.
Talking to media on Wednesday he said National Assembly Audio leaks committee meeting will hold today (Thursday). Committee summoned former CJP Saqib Nisar son in meeting. However we have not received any order from court or speaker so without order how can we stop working.
He said, in principle court should not interfere in parliament affairs. Parliament is sovereign institute.
He said according to constitution, law and rule committee has to authority to summon anyone and ruler was mentioned in letter sent to son of former CJP.
He said will see when court order will arrive, till now I have no orders like this.
