NA passses resolution against destroying parliament power

ISLAMABAD 14 April (Online): National Assembly (NA) passed two resolutions on Friday, one against destroying parliament power of making constitution, second on submission of Diamer Bhasha dam funds to national treasure.
Resolution against destroying parliament supremacy and power of parliament right by apex court was presented in national assembly by Ali Musa Gilani.

Resolution said they reject the supreme court aggressive effort to destroy parliament’s constitutional right and make it clear that nor this right can be destroyed neither it can be interfered.

House expressed displeasure over the violation of constitution by one organ of state during the celebrations of completion of 50 year of implementation of constitution; they said this act of violation is unwanted by constitution himself.

Constitution divides jurisdictions among three organs of the state that are legislature, executive, and judiciary. one has no right to interfere in jurisdiction of other, they said, this house makes it clear that issuing budget, financial bill, economic issues and economic resources is all the right of parliament as written in constitution. No one organ can take away, abrogate or suspend this right. Doing this will be against the basic concept and equal to destroy the building of constitution.

This house expresses deep concern over bringing Supreme Court practices and procedure bill 2023 to controversial bench for hearing before completion of its constitutional process completion and implementation. This will be written on black page of history.

This is against law, constitution, and condemnable but also against logic and court procedure. This act himself is illogical and proof of hurry. So according to constitution, law and justice this non-justifying a verdict could not be accepted. so house rejects it.

House instructed federal government to review this serious violation of constitution and take steps as per law to correct it.
