MQM leader terms PPP as ‘Wadera Gang’

Karachi-December 14 (Online): Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Khawaja Izharul Hassan on Tuesday has termed the Pakistan people’s party (PPP) as the ‘Wadera Gang’, said that hatred is the old trait of this party.

Talking to media on Tuesday, Khawaja Izharul Hassan said that the people having black law always formulate the black law and the MQM will not let this law impose on the people.

MQM leader said that they will save Sindh from the PPP. “For last 2 to 3 days, some political parties are spreading confusion. It is being propagated that it was MQM who was involved in the legislation of Local Bodies Act 2013.” He added.

He said that the nationalist parties had protested against the dual system.
“Then the PPP abolished it with an excuse. Then they brought the old system of Ziaul Haq in 2013 and after that we got separated from the government. In 2013, the PPP got this bill passed from the assembly within three minutes. We protested against it and we walked out,” he added.

The MQM leader has said that they have not been consulted regarding the New Local Government (Amendment) Act 2021. “We were the first who opposed the new act. All political and religious parties seconded our stand,” MQM leader concluded.
