LAHORE, Oct 30 (ONLINE): MQM leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has made telephonic contact with PML-N president Shehba Farooq.
The two leaders exchanged views on a host of issues including overall political situation of the country, general election, working relationship and other matters.
Shehbaz Sharif inquired Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui about his arrival in Islamabad.
According to sources MQM delegation is likely to meet Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif soon. The key leaders of PML-N will participate in the meeting.
Sources said the matters related to date for general election; electoral alliance and other matters will come under discussion in the meeting.
Talking to private TV channel Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said PML-N has remained their last ally. Contacts have been made with Shehbaz Sharif on diverse programs.
The matter related to meeting with Nawaz Sharif has also been discussed. Meeting will be held with Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif soon. Discussion will be held about future program.
