ISLAMABAD, MARCH 18 (ONLINE): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notices to federation, information ministry and Managing Director (MD) PTV on the petition related to delay in payment of dues and pension to 13 pensioners of PTV besides seeking reply from them.
Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz of IHC took up the case for hearing on Tuesday.
The petitioners took the plea in the petition they are facing immense difficulties due to delay in payment of pension and dues. Payment of monthly pension is being delayed. The pension for the month of January was paid on February 17 while pension for the month of February has not been received so far. The pensioners are suffering from mental stress due to delay in the payment of dues.
Federation, information ministry and MD PTV have been made respondents in the petition.
The court while issuing notice to the respondents sought reply.
Hearing of the case was adjourned for indefinite period.
