Main objective of NAB is changing loyalties: Shahid Khaqan

ISLAMABAD, Sep 07 (Online): Former Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said NAB is aimed at changing the loyalties.

“NAB objective is changing the loyalties. There is nothing in the name of government in the country. There is no room for extension in the service period of chairman NAB in the law. Government is leveling baseless allegations against the opponents:, he said this while talking to media men here Tuesday.

The inflation is at its peak and the unemployment is on rise in the country, he held. On the other hand government is purchasing LNG at double rate.

He went on to say there is endless corruption and incompetence in the country. We have been saying repeatedly that cameras be installed in NAB court.

On what basis chairman NAB service will be extended, he questioned. This thing will go too far away. The matter of extension in service of controversial person will go the Supreme Court. Now NAB and government have become one thing.

Talking of the elections, he said opposition will take part in the polls forcefully. People who were doing jobs since 20 years have been rendered jobless.

He remarked this is third year but still it is incomprehensible case is of what nature.

Ahsan Iqbal gave statement then chairman NAB got angry, he stated. NAB has paralyzed the country. NAB is out to plague Pakistan relations with other countries.

He underlined that NAB will not investigate the matter of purchasing LNG costly by the government. Fact is very clear in Supreme Court decisions that what is objective of NAB. NAB aim is influencing the politicians and changing their loyalties.
