LHC orders schools colleges to allocate one period in a week for creation of awareness about environmental issues, importance of plants

LAHORE, Feb 22 (Online): Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued written order regarding the petitions seeking court’s orders to curb smog.
Justice Shahid Karim of LHC issued written order in respect of petitions filed for elimination of smog Thursday.
The court issued orders to all schools and colleges to allocate one period in a week for educating students about environmental issues and the importance of the plants

The court said in written order member Judicial commission should inform all schools and colleges forthwith.
According to written order the court summoned report regarding security funds in PSL .
It was further said in written order citizens will not face disturbance during PSL matches. Traffic will be closed for short period for citizens during PSL matches.
