LHC moved for formation of JC to probe into Zille Shah death

LAHORE, March 13 (Online): Petition has been filed in Lahore High Court (LHC) seeking formation of Judicial Commission (JC) on killing of PTI worker Ali Bilal alias Zille Shah.

The petition has been filed by advocate Nadim Sarwar making Punjab government, IG Punjab, deputy commissioner and others respondents.

The petitioner has taken the plea political worker Ali Billal alias Zille Shah was murdered in broad day light and his body was left in Service hospital. The signs of worst torture on the body of Zille Shah came to light in post mortem report.

The petitioner said Zille Shah was last seen in the prisoners van of police.

According to police Zille Shah died being hit by vehicle.

The petitioner took the plea Zille Shah death is matter of serious nature and it is necessary that the matter be investigated.

Petition further said article 9 of the constitution provides guarantee for safety of lives of people.

The petitioner requested the court to issue order to constitute commission to investigate into the killing of Zille Shah besides monitoring the proceedings of the commission by court itself.
