LAHORE, APRIL 14 (ONLINE): Justice Ali Zia Bajwa of Lahore High Court (LHC) has expressed resentment over removing the hair of kite flyers from their heads and uploading their videos on social media by police.
Justice Ali Zia Bajwa of LHC during the hearing of petition pertaining to this matter remarked ” you people are uploading the pictures of people on social media after making them bald.
This is no way that “you people remove the hair of people from their heads and upload them on videos with Indian songs.
The court further said such videos have been uploaded on official page of Lahore Police. This is a disciplined force and not personal property of any one. Award punishment as per law even if some one is black thief.
The court ordered DIG Operations Lahore to appear before it tomorrow and explain the position.
IG Punjab has also been directed to present report through senior officer.
Justice Ali Zia Bajwa took up for hearing petition filed by Wishal Shakir Monday.
The petitioner had taken the plea in his petition that police is removing the hair from their heads after arresting the kit flyers and uploading their videos on social media.
LHC while removing the objection of registrar office on not resorting to proper forum adjourned the hearing of the case till tomorrow.
