RAWALPINDI 14 Sep (Online): Lahor High Court’s Rawalpindi bench has order Federal investigation agency to complete inquiry on contempt material sharing on social media till 20 September.
Justic Abdul Aziz also aske deputy director FIA and Cyber Crime wing Rawalpindi Assistant director to appear before court in person on 20 Sep.
Court also ordered Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to submit report on the action to control contempt material within 8 days and if the social media platform do not cooperate them ban it in Pakistan.
Court also asked that if awareness campaigns can be run on breast cancer and harassments then why it is not possible to have awareness campaign against contempt material.
