ISLAMABAD, FEB 14 (ONLINE): Reacting to statement of Rana Sana Ullah, advisor to Prime Minister (PM) with regard to reference, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah has said ” let it come as why should we fear when we have done nothing wrong.
He said this in an informal chat with the journalists on the occasion of oath taking ceremony of new judges in Supreme Court (SC) here Friday.
To a question from journalist that government advisor has said reference can come against two senior judges, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah said let it come. Why should we fear when we have done nothing wrong.
Responding to a question from the journalist it has been learnt that you are not working now a days , Justice Mansoor Ali Shah said ” see from the website of SC. See it who has wrapped up most cases. See it maximum of reported decisions relate to whom.
It is pertinent to mention here Rana Sana Ullah advisor to PM had said in a TV interview a few days back that government is considering to file reference against two senior judges of SC. Commission can be constituted due to attitude of these two judges. These judges write letter on every matter. Their letter is received by media first. This act can be linked to misconduct some where. The matters of SC are not running due to these two senior judges. They write letter in every matter and boycott.
