Law is never still, it develops with the passage of time: Supreme Court

ISLAMABAD, September 07 (Online): Supreme Court (SC) has remarked law is never still and it develops with the passage of time.

A 3-member bench of SC presided over by Justice Umar Ata Bandial took up for hearing suo motu notice pertaining to application of anti terrorism law here Tuesday.

Prosecutor General Punjab (PGP) told the court during the hearing of the case the application for reconciliation among the parties concerned has been received.

Justice Umar Ata Bandial while addressing PGP remarked 3 people were killed and 5 were injured as a result of clash between two parties at Burewala bus stop. The challan of the incident has not been submitted since the last two years. Do the anti terrorism clauses not apply to the incident of clash. We will review if the incident falls in the ambit of personal enmity or does the anti terrorism law apply to it.

The court while issuing notice to RPO Multan, inspector Burewala police station and 31 accused persons adjourned the hearing of the case for indefinite period.
