Lahore Banking court extends interim bail of Shahbaz Sharif, Hamza till Dec 11

LAHORE, Nov 20 (ONLINE): Lahore Banking court has extended interim bail of PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif, his son Hamza Shahbaz Sharif and other accused till December 11.
Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz appeared in banking court Saturday here.

The court inquired from the FIA what progress has been made about interim report of the case. FIA told the court the accused Usman has not joined the investigation so far, therefore, investigation could not be completed .

The court inquired why the accused Usman did not join the investigation. Inform the court today the date for filing interim report otherwise show cause notice will be issued all including investigation officer.

Banking court judge said not a single date has been obtained by the accused persons. The time for completing the investigation has been elapsed long before. Now I am giving three weeks time and no further time will be given later.

The counsel for the accused told the court the co-accused have already joined the investigation. The counsel for the accused Muhammad Usman told the court that about the accused Muhammad Usman it was said he was proclaimed offender while the accused was imprisoned in jail.

In the meantime Shahbaz Sharif came up to the rostrum with the permission of judge. He said “ I had come from Islamabad yesterday. I will appear in the court whenever you order. This is the same case which is in NAB. PML-N president told the court Ramzan Sugar Mills was owned by his father and he had nothing to do with it.

He further told the court Ramzan Sugar mills was not his business. However sugar mills of his children had to suffer heavy losses of billion of rupees due to his steps. The court summoned incomplete challan against Shahbaz Sharif and other accused persons on next hearing.

The judge banking court said in his order no further time will be given to FIA for presenting challan in future. The court extended the interim bail of Shahbaz Sharif, Hamza Shahbaz and others till December 11.
