PESHAWAR, Dec 30 (Online): Governor KP Haji Ghulam Ali Khan has signed bill pertaining to use of helicopter with dissenting note.
According to media reports KP governor has said in his statement he has signed the bill but he has written a dissenting note as well.
He held that he had written in dissenting note this is not a finance bill. Those who are being affected from it will go to court and then correct decision will come.
It is pertinent to mention here that provincial assembly had sent the bill to governor for signature after according approval to it. Governor KP had returned the bill to speaker KP assembly without signing it with raising objections.
Speaker had returned the bill to governor with writing a note on bill with reference to the powers of governor. It was said in the note that legal protection has been given to use of helicopter since 2008 under the bill approved by provincial assembly.
