ISLAMABAD, Nov 10 (Online): PPP senior leader Khurshid Ahmad Shah has held separate meeting with opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif and PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
During the meeting they exchanged views on anti government movement, important political issues and matters of mutual interest.
Khurshid Shah met Shahbaz Sharif in his chamber at parliament house. Shahbaz Sharif congratulated Khurshid Shah on his release on bail. Both the leaders exchanged the views on political and parliamentary situation at length.
PML-N and PPP agreed on blocking legislation on the part of government.
Shahbaz Sharif said if government bulldozes approval of important laws then opposition will show severe reaction. We will not sit mute over it because government wants to get pass controversial laws including electronic voting machine law. This will cause harm to the country. Opposition was not consulted in respect of these laws.
Khurshid Shah said all opposition parties including PPP are united in the parliament. Tough time will be given to government today on the occasion of joint session of both the houses of parliament.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman also congratulated on his release on bail.
The two leaders exchanged views on prevailing political situation and PDM protest movement.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said it will be injustice with the nation and the country to give more time to this government. Therefore, PDM is on the roads. A huge rally is going to be held in Karachi on November 13. PDM leadership will address the rally.
