Khattak believes Nowshera by-election was rigged by PML-N

PESHAWAR – Federal Defence Minister Pervez Khattak on Sunday said that PML-N had broken all the records of rigging in PK 63 Nowshera bye-election. While talking to media persons after watching the final of Muhammad Shaheed cricket tournament at Pahari Kati Khel in Nowshera district as chief guest, the Defence Minister said all rigging proofs including attested copies of forms 45 and 46 were obtained that would be submitted with the election petition. He said mandate of PTI was stolen in Nowshera bye-election and his party candidate Mian Umar was intentionally defeated. Pervez Khattak said PTI had won two National Assembly seats at Dhaska and Kurrum that reflected people’s unshakable trust on the policies of government. The Minister said vote bank of PTI were increasing in Punjab and KP as evident from Dhaska and Kurrum by election results. He said politics of long march of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) would face the same fate like its resignation hollow slogans. The Defence Minister said PTI Government would complete its constitutional tenure. He said our political opponents knew that if PTI Government completed its tenure then their politics would come to an end forever. He said defeat in Senate election would prove last nail in the coffin of PDM.
