ISLAMABAD 02 Mar (Online): Government decided to increase power tariff for k-electric consumers. According to documents, decision has been taken to increase two type of rates for K-electric under which same tariff will be imposed on all consumers.
Average price increase on power tariff will be 3.21pkr per unit.
K-Electric consumer of up to 100 units will have 1.4pkr and consumers up to 700 units will have 3.2Pkr per unit increase on power tariff while temporary residents and industrial consumers’ will have 4.45pkr per unit pricy electricity.
On quarterly basses electricity rate has been decided to increase 1.55pkr per unit.
Furthermore, for K-electric consumers, on quarterly basses increase from July to September 2022 and from March to May 2023 has been decided.
Up to 100 units power tariff for domestic and industrial consumers of K-electric users will add 1.55Pkr per unit to the price of electricity for quarterly increase.
