LAHORE, March 13 (Online): In Lahore High Court (LHC) Justice Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi has recused himself from hearing the petition filed by former Chief Minister (Punjab) Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi seeking details of the cases registered against him. The file was returned to Chief Justice (CJ) LHC.
It is pertinent to mention here Pervaiz Elahi has filed petition that the details of the cases registered against him be provided. In the petition IG Punjab and others have been made respondents.The petitioner has taken the plea that cases are being registered on political basis. Pervaiz Elahi requested the court to issue order for providing details of the cases registered against him.
