Judge threatening case: Respondents put on notice

ISLAMABAD, April 18 (Online): Court of Additional district and sessions judge Tahir Abbas Sipra has issued notice to the respondents for giving reply in the appeal against the summons issued to Imran Khan in judge threatening case.

Naeem Haider Panjutha counsel for Imran Khan while filing application in the court of district and sessions judge took the plea notice was issued to Imran Khan on October 01 last year for appearing in the court in judge threatening case.

He argued Imran Khan speech was not threatening. The sentence “I will see you” cannot be described as threat for murder. the court is not in a position to issue notice to Imran Khan with reference to allegations. The plaintiff proved untrue in the cases of political vendetta against Imran Khan. It is requested to court to declare the notice issued to Imran Khan illegal. The court should provide more relief to Imran Khan.

District and Sessions judge Nasir Javed Rana sent the petition to additional district and session’s judge Tahir Abbas Sipra court for hearing.

During hearing Sardar Masroof advocate appeared in the court

The court while issuing notice to the respondents for giving reply adjourned the hearing of the case till April 27
