ISLAMABAD, April 06 (ONLINE): The journalists have voiced strong protest over calling the journalist kiraye ka aadmi [a man on rent) by former information minister Fawad Chaudhry and they have demanded an apology from him.
PTI leaders including Asad Umar, Ali Muhammad, Fawad Chaudhry and Shahbaz Gul held a joint press conference outside Supreme Court here Wednesday.
During the press conference one journalist asked a question that media reports are flowing in about Farrah Khan corruption. She along with husband and family members has fled the country. What is PTI stance on this count.
This enraged Fawad Chaudhry and he flew into rage instead of giving reply to question. He said to the journalist � you are kirae ka aadmi. I know it the money comes to you from where. Fawad Chaudhry also abused him.
Upon all the journalists demanded apology from Fawad Chaudhry.
Fawad Chaudhry said � why and for what I should offer apology. Expressing these remarks Fawad Chaudhry resumed his talk. But the journalists were not ready to listen to him. They started chanting slogans.
The other PTI leaders tried to convince and pacify the journalists that you all are boycotting Fawad Chaudhry. Asad Umar can talk.
Fawad Chaudhry said as to why Asad Umar will talk. What lie I have spoken. I will talk and all will listen.
The journalists replied to Fawad Chaudhry � You cannot talk unless you tender apology.
Later all PTI leaders left the press conference and went away.
