ISLAMABAD, MARCH 15 (ONLINE): Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar has said Jaffar Express attack could be a big tragedy like APS attack and the security forces saved country from mammoth tragedy.
He said this while talking to media men on the occasion of his appearance in the court Saturday.
He pointed out “we constituted committee on December 4 for talks and first meeting was held on December 23. Second and third meetings were held on January 2 and 16 respectively. We had put 2 demands before the government.
He added government sought demands in writing. We gave written demands.
He indicated Imran Khan had said if government shows willingness for formation of commission then we will sit with them. Speaker knows it well this opportunity was not lost from our side and instead government has lost this chance.
He said meeting of not a single man has been arranged with PTI founder since 6 months. His regular talks with his sons is also not arranged.
We have repeatedly said in this regard that it is violation of court’s order and human rights.
He remarked PTI is not such party that it slaps bar on people. There is democracy in our party. Whatever we decide, all the people in party accept it.
Chairman PTI said DG ISI had held a good press conference on Friday. Security forces have played a good role and have saved us from a major tragedy. This could be another tragedy like Army Public school. Security forces averted this tragedy by taking timely action.
