LAHORE, Dec 11 (Online): PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif has said it will be national suicide if mini budget is approved by National Assembly (NA).
“We will evolve joint mechanism with combined opposition to prevent passage of mini budget”, he said this in a statement issued here Saturday.
He went on to say country’s economic and sovereignty is at stake. Tsunami of change has devoured economy, employment and delights of people, he added.
Another mini budget is tantamount to cure cancer by aspirin, he remarked.
The oil relief of international market has not been provided to masses so far, he pointed out. The impact of economic relief announced for the people has not reached them and on the other hand the prices of electricity, gas and essential commodities have gone up.
He underlined that the incumbent government has become a national security risk. He underscored that government should step down instead of announcing IMF dictated mini budget.
