ISLAMABAD, SEP 22 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has suspended FIA call up notice in respect of Bushra Bibi wife of chairman PTI in audio leaks probe till further orders.
Justice Babar Sattar of IHC issued the order on Friday after hearing the matter.
Sardar Latif Khosa appeared and told the court Kohsar police had summoned Bushra Bibi saying that FIA wants to review her voice watching under cyber crime. They have mentioned toshakhana watch in this regard.
Khosa told the court the situation has come to this stage that Bushra Bibi is being summoned in fake cases this way despite being a woman. Tips have been made through forgery.
He referred to articles 9, 11, 14 and 25 saying Bushra Bibi enjoys basic human rights and these rights are guaranteed by law and constitution. Therefore, this matter be stopped. Orders be issued to FIA and Kohsar police station.
Justice Babar Sattar suspended call up notice issued by FIA and Kohsar police station remarking Bushra Bibi will not be summoned this way till the final decision of this case.
