Investigation started against brother of former DG ISI in embezzlement of fee in mutation of land cases

LAHORE, August 07 (Online): Anti Corruption has started investigation into embezzlement in the fees regarding mutation of land against Naib Tehsildar Najaf Hamid Khan brother of former DG ISI Faiz Hameed.

According to anti corruption sources evidence of irregularities have surfaced up in the fee of more than 60 mutation of land cases worth million of rupees in five villages of Chakwal during induction of Najaf Hamid.
Audit has been started in respect of fees of all the cases of transfer of land during the stay of Najaf Hamid as Naib Tehsildar in 9 villages of Chakwal.
According to preliminary scrutiny by anti corruption challans of fees in respect of 60 cases of mutation of land were not found in the record. Irregularities have been found in the fees of mutation of land cases in patwar khanas of 5 villages.

Anti corruption sources said 5 patwaris have deposited Rs 20 lakh out of embezzled fees from July 18 to July 21 after anti corruption scrutiny.
