Lahore, May 23th (Online): The investigation of the case of 5 thousand 261 kanals of land in Layyah has been speed up against Uzma Khan Sister of Imran Khan in Anti-corruption Punjab.
Imran Khan Sister Uzma Khan had bought land in the name of herself and her husband Ahad Majeed Khan during the tenure of former Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar through 2 different deeds.
According to official record, 50261 kanals of agriculture land were purchased for only 13 crore 15 lac and 25 thousand rupees.
Loss was caused to the government treasury by depositing a few lac of rupees in the government treasury through two challans.
After the revelation of the matter, Director Anti-Corruption Dera Ghazi Khan along with AC, ADCR, Tehsildar and other officers raided the office over night.
The record was seized and transferred to Lahore.
