Islamabad, Nov 05 (Online): The investigations about 2 brothers connected with murder of senior journalist Arshid Sharif has been started.
Official sources said Pakistan authorities have obtained travelling record of Khurram Ahmad and Waqar Ahmad.
Investigations will be made into the contacts of Khurram Ahmad he made during his stay in Pakistan.
The investigation sources said Khurram Ahmad visited Pakistan for four times for short period during the ten months in 2022.
Arshid Sharif went abroad on August 10 then Khurram Ahmad was present in Pakistan.
Sources said Khurram Ahmad travelled from Karachi International airport to Kenya on August 19 while Arshid Sharif reached Kenya from Dubai on August 20.
According to immigration record Khurram Ahmad came to Karachi again on October 03 and he left for Dubai on October 07.
The sources said Waqar Ahmad had come to Pakistan on December 18, 2017 last time. The travelling record of Khurram Ahmad who was driving the vehicle at the time of murder of Arshid Sharif has been made part of investigation.
