Islamabad, Aug 22 (Online): Interior ministry has sought written permission from Prime Minister (PM) office to arrest Imran Khan.
Imran Khan is likely to be arrested in a case under terrorist act. Police and Law enforcement agencies have blocked all the avenues to Bani Gala. PTI workers have gathered in Bani Gala chowk in large number.
According to sources arrest warrant of Imran Khan has reached IG Islamabad.
Sources claimed that Imran Khan is not in Bani gala to avert his possible arrest. He has gone to KP or Lahore.
PTI leader Faisal Vawda has said Imran Khan is Banigala.
On the other hand Imran Khan will be arrested in consensus with allied parties of government. Consultation among ruling alliance parties is underway on this count.
Sources said former President Asif Ali Zardari is not in favor of arresting Imran Khan as he thinks Imran Khan arrest will cause political loss.
On the other hand PDM head Maulana Fazlur Rehman is avoiding taking clear stand in this respect.
