ISLAMABAD, Jan 14 (Online): Interior Ministry has directed to deploy Frontier Constabulary (FC) in sensitive and highly sensitive polling stations in Sindh and Hyderabad to control law and order situation with reference to Local Bodies (LB) polls.
According to interior ministry Election Commission (EC) had requested to deploy FC in sensitive and highly sensitive polling stations during LB polls.
In this perspective it has been decided to carry out static deployment of FC personnel outside polling stations.
The date and area for deployment will be settled in consultation with Sindh government, EC and FC
It is pertinent to mention that EC has declared over 2300 polling stations sensitive.
