RAWALPINDI, Jan 26 (Online): Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has said Imran Khan will really be fatal if comes on roads.
“We have never allowed any goon to raise his head. Government and establishment are on one page. Presidential system and emergency issues did not come in the cabinet meeting. Maulana Fazlur Rehman statements are irresponsible. Imran Khan is lucky that his opposition is incompetent and inefficient. Opposition will soon come to know. It still does not comprehend it”, he said this while talking to media men here Wednesday.
He went on to say opposition could not defeat Imran Khan in Senate and National Assembly (NA) Opposition early decided to tender resignations and then it evaded bringing no trust motion.
Opposition had to face defeat on finance bill.
He indicated opposition will face humiliation on roads for one and half year. It is all free to fulfill its desire on March 23 in Islamabad.
Opposition should tell what deed It has done during the last three and half years, he questioned. Opposition is coming to do what. Their agenda is what.
He held March 23 is very sensitive day. Opposition should not go back from this date and should come to Islamabad on this date so that they could face their political degradation and humiliation. May be mobile phones and roads are blocked on March 23.
He pointed out Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan is too leaving for China on March 23. I hope the visit will yield better results.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman has given statements a day before that they will take out Imran Khan like fly. His statements are irresponsible. Look at yourself. We respect you being a religious scholar. If there is no media then people will forget the face of Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
He disclosed that senior officials of Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan will be provided blue passport.
I will offer no comment on presidential system and emergency because no such matter has come before cabinet so far, he added.
He observed Imran Khan and establishment are on one page and the working relationship between the two is good.
Imran Khan is not having any confusion, he held.
To a question he said “ I will offer no comment on Transparency report. Fawad Chaudhry will give detailed reply. Nullah Leh project will soon be materialized.
