ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 02 (Online): Akbar S Babar, petitioner in PTI prohibited foreign funding case has said demanded of Imran Khan to resign forthwith from chairmanship of party as the foreign funding case has been proved against him.
Talking to media men after the decision of the case he said this case is very clear. Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has indicted PTI after the foreign funding case has been proved against it. ECP has served show cause notice that all the allegations leveled by the petitioner have been proved.
“I think time has come there should be regime change in PTI.
He demanded that Imran Khan should resign after the decision. PTI should be handed over to its ideological workers. There is no reason that Imran Khan does not resign, he said this while talking to media men outside election commission office.
He said this war is between truth and falsehood. Truth will emerge triumphant.
Imran Khan has been bowled out in my sight, he held. Now it has to be settled yet he has been clean bowled and caught at slip.
No political party including PML-N has funded me to contest this case, he remarked. Now time has come ECP should announce decisions of the cases of foreign prohibited funding against all the parties.
