Imran Khan Files separate petition in IHC to withdraw petition in Tosha Khana case against

ISLAMABAD Aug 31(Online): Imran Khan has filed a separate petition in the Islamabad High Court to withdraw the main petition in the case against the disqualification of Chairman PTI from the Election Commission and his removal from the party post in the Tosha Khana case.

It has been stated in the petition that the order of the Election Commission dated 21 October 2022 has been challenged in the Islamabad High Court.

During the hearing of the application, the Election Commission issued another show cause notice. According to the text, the Election Commission issued a show cause notice to Chairman PTI on December 7, 2022, in which he is asked to explain why you have been removed from party chairmanship with the decision of the Election Commission.

According to the application, these two cases are also under hearing before the full bench of Lahore High Court, on which notices have also been issued by the Lahore High Court.

Chariman PTI decided that he wants to pursue the case in Lahore High Court instead of Islamabad High Court.

In the petition filed by Imran Khan, it is further stated that earlier also the petition was requested from the Islamabad High Court to withdraw the petition. However, till now the petition was not allowed to withdraw.

The court has been requested to allow PTI Chairman to withdraw the application from Islamabad High Court so that he can pursue the case in Lahore High Court.
