Imran Khan-Bushra Bibi nikkah case: court rejects review appeal

ISLAMABAD, OCT 02 (ONLINE): Federal Shariat Court (FSC) hearing case related to Imran Khan-Bushra Bibi nikkah has rejected the review appeal regarding married life of Imran Khan.

The FSC while rejecting review petition against family courts act 1964 has remarked the Supreme Court Shariat Appellate bench be resorted in this case
A 3-member bench presided over by the Chief Justice Iqbal Hameed ur Rehman took up the case for hearing Monday.

The FSC asked the petitioner Shahid Orakzai Shariat court has already given a decision about family act 1964. The case against the decision of Shariat court decision is pending hearing in Shariat appellate bench Supreme Court. It is better you should approach Shariat appellate bench Supreme Court.

Justice Said Anwar remarked the jurisdiction of hearing of review is limited. You should consult any lawyer. It is better.

The petitioner said yes whatever decision you give.

The court said in its order the petitioner failed in proving the case. Therefore, the court rejects the review petition.
